Washer under the Flywheel nut??

I have a 1987 85hp Force.. Problem is I took the flywheel off to replace the trigger, dont remember there being a washer (bought it used) but the flyweel looks like it had a washer on it. Can you guys tell me if there is a washer under the nut?? I looked at the merc parts list, picture doesn't show one but there is a washer in the parts list but it's# is not shown on the picture..

well dont know bout your engine but my 150 doesnt but would recomend replacing the nut the nylon lock wears out and will work loose.

yea I have replaced the nut & the flywheel worked loose again enough to screw up the flywheel key #2, only thing I can figure is it was missing a washer & the nut was bottoming out.. I torqued to 90ft lbs
