I have a 1985 1800SS Striper Special. I also have the original marketing flyer for most of the 1985 models. The Striper Special is listed as having a few extra options over the basic 1800SS. One of them is a washout system. Does anyone know if this means that there is a freshwater holding tank somewhere on board or is it supposed to use the livewell pump to feed water to an outlet? I do not have an outlet but in the rear battery compartment on the starboard side, I do find a garden hose type Y fitting that one side is not hooked to anything. Water flows out of this fitting if the live well pump is turned on. I would hope that this is not what would be considered a washout system especially if you are in salt water, but who knows!?
Any feedback is appreciated.
