Water box crack

I have a Boston whaler rage 14 with Johnson 90 hp engine. I recently notice that the auto bilge pump will turn on after I start engine. Finally I check the engine while running it. I notice there is a small crack on the water box part of the engine. It is shooting water when the engine was running. It isn't much and the bilge pump can easily draw out the water. I would like to seal it up without having to remove the engine, as the leaking part is accessible. Is there any product that can seal the leak from outside the engine? Thanks

I'm at a loss as well. I have a 90 hp Johnson on my Capri, though it's not a jet. Maybe jet guys can answer, but no pics will make it pretty tough.

???---Perhaps some are not aware that this is the inboard mounted engine.----A 90 hp block mounted on top of a jet drive unit and all inside the boat !!!

Sorry I meant the muffler parts. in the picture I have put an arrow where the crack is. the crack is located on the other side so cannot see from the picture. The crack is small and only shoot water when engine running. There is a water pressure gauge on the boat and the pressure is fine so there is not problem on cooling the engine. I just need to seal the crack so that my bilge pump can take a break. My hand can reach in and touch the crack. so I am thinking of putting some silicone or is there anything that is specially use for this type of repair?

Silicone will not hold. It will more then likely burn off. You could use like a JB weld but that probably won't last long either. Your best bet is to take it off and get repaired. Welded or replace.

Doubt silicon would ever hold since under pressure. Perhaps an epoxy metal repair such as JB Weld or liquid metal, but you'll probably need to bevel out the crack. I'd be more inclined to do a more permanent repair.

Just realize that the picture did not post. I took a picture here from the top. Seem like the previous owner did some patching himself. I will try some epoxy to see if it works.
