Hey everyone!

First time boat owner here. I'm trying to winterize my 1995 Mercruiser 5.7 Alpha One but cannot locate the port side engine block drain plug location. I've found the one on the starboard side, but in the same area on the port side it looks like a hose is attached to it. The hose runs to the engine driven water circulating pump. Definitely looks a little out of place. I pulled the hose off and water did drain out. Just trying to figure out what that hose is for and if it's in the right location. I was able to find the riser drains. I've attached pictures, thanks in advance! Boat is a 1995 Glastron SSV 249.

Hopefully the pictures work, first time using photobucket.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... Yer boat used to have a water heater, or a cabin heater,....

That's the remains of the loop,....

Put a 1/4" brass pipe plug in the block, 'n cap off the port in the circulatin' pump,....
