water comes out of holes in back of motor?

i attached a picture the motor runs fine but water splashes out of the holes drilled where that arrow is pointing is that normal ive never noticed it on my old boat.(that isnt a pic of my motor mine is a 25 hp around a 87 model i think maybe newer)

They are the exhaust relief holes, and it's completely normal for water to come out of there...
