Water coming from under the dash while moving

I have a 2000 skeeter SL176 with a Yamaha 150 VMax. I went fishing for the first time this year. I noticed that there was water coming from under the dash when I was moving down the river. I removed the screws so I could see behind the gauges thinking the speedo was leaking but it wasn't. I also have another problem. When you are idling down the river you can turn left or right easy but when you are under power it doesn't want to turn left. As soon as you let off the throttle you can turn left. It's not hard to turn at all. It's like you can just keep turning the steering wheel left but nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Could the hose for the speedo be leaking somewhere down the line to the motor. What kind of steering.

I have the sea star hydraulic steering. No water pressure gauge & I don't believe the speedo hose is leaking.

How much fluid supposed to be in the hydraulic steering. I removed the plug on side of the dash and it sucked air.

I bled the steering which took a while to get all the air out and it fixed it. I also found the leaking water problem. The old water line that went to the foot had came loose and was pushing water out the old line under the dash. Thanks for all the help.
