Went fishing the other day and noticed that I was getting water in the boat.. When I got home I decided to fill up the boat with water and noticed that water was coming out of the airrator pump inlet. Just wonding if anyone has ever experianced this. I think that there could be a hole in the hose or the airrator not sealing correctly. I was thinking about sticking my hose in the inlet hole and turning it on slowly and seeing were the water comes in at...... Any other Ideas??

The plastic part that goes thru the transom is probably cracked.

Is there a plug that goes in it when not in use?

If there is water in the pump and line over the winter it will freeze and break off the tip of the pump that is connect to the hose line...thus, the pump may have to be replaced.
