water coming in

i have a 67 20 hp johnson. there is water coming in at the base where the powerhead mounts. is it from the gasket that is under it or could it be something else. thanks in advance. please some answer.

There is a gasket between power head and exhaust housing that could leak. Also take a good look at your head gasket, dripping water off of the bottom and running in lower housing.

Agree with above but also check you exhaust cover gasket and your pee hose and connection if you have it. Rick.
