i have a quick question about the amount of water exiting through the prop on a 1982 omc 800 stringer my 1985 model stringer 800 has a small amount continously draining about a half inch wide stream however on the muffs my 1982 stringer 800 doesnt unless i rev it to about 1500 rpms then back it off to idle then some water will come out momentarily nothing is overheating just concerned thanks and merry christmas to all of you and your families!!

When was the last time you replaced the impeller? It's likely due.

You can remove the hose from the thermostat on the engine & start it up (on the muffs) and see how much comes out the hose (be ready for a firehose worth of water to shoot out - the Stringer can pump a fair bit of water!).

There may be more water exiting from the relief ports on one, so you don't see as much from the prop.
As SB suggested, pull the 3/4" hose along the rocker cover off the TS housing, see what volume you get on idle, to verify a good impeller.

My are is broken but I dont want to go to a doctor to have it set and cast. What can I do to make it work and not hurt.

You either fix it or screw it up by not fixing it and it will cost a lot more then.
