If doing a water decarbinazation would it be better to use a small stream of water from like a dish washing soap bottle or a by a spray bottle? Or wouldn't it matter.

I've never Tried anything but a Soda Pop Bottle........

A 16oz. bottle full,....With the motor Running,+ Warmed up,......
Rev it to 1000/1200rpms,......
You'll need to pour it Fast enough to cause it to Labor,... But Not Stall....Right Down the Throat of the Carb.........
When the bottle is Empty,.....
Your Done....... ;)

I Don't think the methods you ask about will move Enough water, Fast Enough.....

Do a Search,.... I've posted the routine here,... As per my British Leyland/ Land Rover Ser.I/II/IIA/III Shop Manual.........

If I Know I'm going to be tearing down a motor,.... I do this 1st.... Saves Alot of Time later.....
Pistons,+ Combustion Chambers will be as Clean as New..........

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was the volume or just the water that did the job.
