Water depth requirement for a 9.5hp.....

I'm temporary planning on using my 9.5hp for a trolling motor on my 16 foot Starcraft. The question is if the motor will be submerged enough for proper water cooling. The red line in the picture is where the water line is at and might lower a little while trolling. Will this be deep enough for proper cooling? Thanks.

I think you'll just be OK with that. Looks to me like the water line you drew is just higher than the water pump.

Cool beans. Watch for some water and exhaust coming out of the relief port up midway on the leg. If you see it coming out, you're golden. It looks OK to me, but I'd keep an eye on it, especially if you have some big guys up in the front of the boat.

No traditional relief port on this one. You'll want to check the exhaust port on the underside of the cowl (port side rear).
