Water flow chart for 5.0 mercruiser

Does someone have one of these available to few? I started my engine after being idle over the winter and it doesn't seem to be picking up the water properly. After running awhile ir starts to smell and the boxes on top the exhaust manifolds get hot. Doesn't set off overheating alarms however. Any ideas what the problem may be? It is a Sea Ray 2007 Select 220. The impeller has not ever been replaced.

When was the last time the impeller was replaced?? Could give more information, but have no idea what year, or model drive you have.

2007 Sea Ray 220 Select. The impeller has never been replaced since I bought it.

What are you waiting for,..??

Has the Drive ever been off the boat,..??
That's an Annual maintenance thing,...

Righto. The drive has never been off the boat. How big of a job is replacing the impeller?

Can't say, you never said what kind of drive you have.
