having problems with my 7.5, the water pump and immpellor are fine, however water does not make it to the thermostat, is their a way(some sort of piping) that i can clean the water ways without taking the whole head apart and re gasketing the thing, i have re-gasketed the exhaust/water outlet part and the plate was blocked to high heaven,so i expect the rest is in simular condition, she was pumping water throught all the way until recently so i think i have dislodged some gunk and that has caused the blockage, any ideas chaps,

Actually, a gasket set for that moto is fairly cheap and you can remove the powerhead, disassemble all the water jacket access areas and put it back together in less than a day. At the same time, you can inspect the entire wter tube that attaches to th bottom of the powerhead.

Just my opinion...I'd do it myself if I were in your shoes.
