Water flow/overheat question

Just finished a carb rebuild and the motor is running pretty good, need to do the adjustment for slow speed but wanted to ask a cooling question. Impeller about two years old, and tell tale is very strong so i assume no problems there or reason to drop lower unit? With motor running a while the temp on the back is about 155 on each cylinder, give or take a few degrees between them. Since they are all close to each other, is it safe to assume water deflecters are in ok shape? If so, only possible thing to replace/check would the thermostat for any blockage, although 155-160 seems like an ok temp to me. Thanks for any advice or other things to check. Did not have gaskets handy and didn't want to pull head covers t-stat if not necessary

Re: Water flow/overheat question

Mainly want to confirm that water goes from pump to thermostat to cylinders, and that if all cylinders are at the same temperature the water diverters are ok? Thanks for any advice

Your mtr doesn't have water diverters or deflectors in it. 155-160 temp seems okay to me too.
