Hello all. I'm dealing with a hot running 1990 120 force, suprise,
Suprise. Anyway t-stat is cooked with chalky, sandy debris in housing. I removed exaust cover and found more sand in bottom of engine in lower galley and behind exaust plate between cover and plate. Ut oh, seems as previous owner maybe ran in a sandbar and didn't flush out as quick as I would have. Well I'm planning on replacing the impeller and gaskets along with the exaust plate which warped on removal and was wondering the best way to make sure and flush the remaining sand from the engine. Any advise? Thx.
