My husband and I completely refurbished a 1987 Playtime Pontoon boat. When we start going
fast, water comes flying up on the deck. Why does it do that? Its only doing it on the right side.

Congratulations for your refurbishing efforts. It is always good to hear about such things on here. If you could snap a few pictures and post them, we could understand your situation better and offer some ideas for fixes... :thumb:

What speed is "fast"What horse power. Does the boat list to one side either moving or at rest?
Is it a wet splash or a mist flying in the air?

There are aluminum spray rails welded to the front of the pontoons to try to minimize that, but if you have enough wind coming from your side, that wind will nearly always blow some of that spray up over the deck. There's also the possibility, especially on an older boat, that those spray rails (that are supposed to be welded to the front of the pontoons) have broken off - as a result of encounters with trailers and docks over the years.
