water from the wrong hole

just bought a 1983 starcraft IO 140 mercruiser. after the tune up and new impeller i noticed water coming into the boat thru a pencil sise hole located next to the water inlet hose where the hose comes thru the transom. the water is running onto the drive shaft from the motor then getting slung thruout the compartment.<br /> Where is the water comming from, and what kind of repair would i be looking at.<br /> thanks for any help i can get.

I gotta Guess that your Driveshaft Bellows is Leaking....................

Bondo; you hit the nail on the head<br />had to pull the outdrive to find it<br />repairs under way.<br /> thanks man!
