I installed my water/fuel separator and I can't seem to get fuel to the carb. I have an electic fuel pump, I did turn the key so that the pump was going-I figured it would need to fill the filter before it dispences fuel to the carb. Do I need to fill the filter full first, then start the pump--Is there some other way to prime it?

It's best to prime the filter, most of the electric fuel pumps aren't real great at filling up a filter when running dry. They usually fail first.

Yes you need to fill the filter first or you'll burn out the fuel pump.

Nothing on your "Other Problem" that can't be fixed by throwing money at it ;)
