New to me 4Winns 220H 5.8 Cobra with Penta sx cobra drive. Bellows check out in good condition as does shift cabel boot. Still getting some water in the boat from somewhere. I am a total newbie about stern drive boats. Need some help with this problem.

Welcome aboard:

Find a not-so-busy ramp and back her into the water. Open up the hatches and start watching for the water. That'll tell you where to look. Lots of places it can come from, so keep an eye on the bilge: see what direction it's filling from to get an idea of where to localize your lookin'.

I've had boats leak up by the bow eye in the past.

being a Fourwins with a ford powered SX boat puts the boat as a 1995

the boat is 25 years old.

'kogs has you pointed in the right direction for looking to see where its coming in.

most likely the water can be coming in from any of these choices:
rotten transom
leaking exhaust y-pipe
leaking u-joint bellows
cracked engine block

1995 is correct. 260 hours it looks mint. Have had it the shop for a month and mechanic says no issues with the bellows and bearing in good condition. Hull is in good condition no cracks or splits. Will back it in and try to find where its seepi g. It is a slow leak. A day on the lake and get about a gallon or so drains out.

A gallon for the whole day? If you have people swimming that can cause water to drain into the bilge when they get back on board. Just a thought.
