Water got into plywood around the ski locker - Any hope?

Hey guys, I just took the metal lip off ski locker and found out water has been getting into the deck that way. I redid the stringers and deck about 4 years ago and apparently 20 year old me didn't seal the edges of the plywood after I cut the floor for the ski locker. I've attached a few photos to show what happened. Is there anything I can do to slow the water from making its way to rest of the floor? Should I seal it with 5200 now? Everything seems structurally strong and fine

Well if the edges are exposed to moisture/outside well there just going to get worse. You need to pull back the carpet and cut out the bad to see how far it goes. If it's not too bad there may be a way to repair it but exploration is required on your part and more pics.
Hopefully nothing else got destroyed.

Get a hole saw down there on a 90 degree drill and make an exploratory hole to see what is going on between the plies. If you did not use the right type of plywood, rot could start at the glue way before it actually infect the wood. Be prepared for the worst case and hopefully you caped the stringers and did not screw the deck to them.

If the deck is damaged and everything else checks out, you don't need to replace the entire deck, you can replace the damaged section only by adding a cleat to where you will cut and secure a new section to the cleat and glass it in.

Start exploring first and post some pictures. Sealing the edges now is adding a band-aid on an already infected wound, it will not help much if the rot has already started.

Yup DB2010 us spot on!!! Find out how far the damage has progressed...Cut it out, and replace.

Damn, that's what I was afraid of. It's in a very difficult place to cut out without affecting the driver and passenger console area and the plywood glassed in to support that. I'll try and get to it next weekend and see how far the damage has gotten. I don't really have the time or money for another total deck replacement, so hopefully it's not that bad or I might have to store the boat until I do or sell it. Thanks for the help! I'll post pictures when I get to it.
