Water in bilge

89 Sea Ray 200 with mercruiser 3.0. Took it out early this season and had water in bilge, a lot in my opinion. Finally got around to pulling the drive and found the shift bellows and bell housing bellows were both fine. There wasn't any water intrusion in either. I have a transducer mounted on the transom which doesn't allow any water in.

I just started it up on the muff and found water was slowly entering the bilge from somewhere. I can't see where it is coming from. I checked all the hoses I could find and all are dry. It seems as if it is entering where the exhaust is exiting, if that is possible. I did check the water and the water in the bilge is cold, not warm, as if from the exhaust

I tried to reach around the motor and feel for drips but didn't reach anything leaking. Doesn't leak unless motor is running. I tried to stick my phone as far back as possible and still see nothing.

Any thoughts about the possible source of the water?

Thanks for all your help in all my issues with this vessel, you've been lifesavers.

since you were on the muffs, asssssuuuuummmmmmeeeee its also on the trailer

if so, the sources for water are either the incoming line from the transom shield to the motor
the motor itself (core plugs, cracked block, etc.)
the exhaust and down tube, including where the tube bolts to the transom shield.

climb in the bilge with a bright LED flashlight, a mirror on a stick and your smart phone and look for running water.
