Botom spark plug is clean and the engine don't run full power. This winther I have put in new gasket and seals and it run great first time on water. 2nd time it only run ½ power. sucks.....
Now I think the powerhead is leaking..... can that be welded or glued ???

Re: Water in bottom cyl.

Mikael, Water in the bottom cylinder can be caused by a bad crankshaft seal (the seals are located in the end cap which is bolted onto the bottom of the block), or a leaking water jacket (exhaust port cover baffle or inner cover)

Or, in the case of an old engine I had, corrosion that ate through the wall of the cylinder allowing cooling water to enter.

Not a good problem to have, sorry,

I have changed the 3ea seal ( 2 bottom and 1 top )

I have changed the gasket on Exhaust cover. The one outside the eng. I can't recall that I have change anything behind that cover ???

I have purchased a complete gasket kit and changed everything, but some gaskets are left over. I think the kit cover diff. models ??

But I think I have to start all over again

I didn't take of the top cover, bolt are very corroded ???

just take your time in geting those bolts and nuts off. make sure that there is enough clearence for the nuts to come off if the bolts do break. unless you have just bolts into the block. there isnt much behind the head plates though, just water passages. what exactly are you wanting to weld or glue? in my expierences ive noticed that i have to get all the nasty off the mating surfaces where gaskets go. when i think i got all the oxidation i do it again to make sure. then i wipe everything down with acetone or denatured alcohol. another thing is there might be a nice big groove in the crank where the seal rides

hi
I'm affaid that my block is craked and therefore water is comming into cyl. I didn't whant to Glue it together but to fill the crack with glue or some kind of filler ???

But I think I have to take it apart again and check behind the Exhaustcover and topcover..
