water in floor

hey guys. was working on the fiberglass jon boat and removed some screws on the bottom floor. when i did water came out. floor is still solid and in good shape. is there a way to dry that out or should i just seal it with epoxy? thanks and have a nice weekend

Welcome to iboats.

You need to drain it. Were the screws in the deck? What kind of boat....... water inside is no good. There are methods to dry it but more important is find out how it got in.

well there are no bolts for a drain. is there a thread on how to add one? is it needed? its just a fiberglass jon boat and had holes in the deck from previous owner. so that's how i think water came in. i guess i can do a search on how to dry it. thanks and happy mothers day

Might be an easy fix, might be huge job, we won't be able to help much without a pic or a very good description of the boat.
