Quick question, I bought a lower unit from ebay, the guy told me that the unit was good. He shipped the unit to me, and I know you are not suppose to ship a unit like that with oil in it. When I got the unit, I opened the bottom drain screw and a some water came out, not a lot but there was water in the lower unit. The funny thing about it is, I see no residue of oil in the lower unit, the water was crystal clear. I just wanted to know what you guy think about that before I fill lower unit and test the unit...

Thanks

Mav

It is quite clear to me that there are some sellers on FLEA-BAY that pick up used motors.----They take them apart to sell.------They know very little about what they are selling judging by some descriptions.--All they know is to turn a wrench one way---OFF--- it says on the ratchet.

I still don't trust E-Bay and I guess I never will.
