So I have a 99 Supra legacy that I purchased. After taking it out a few times I noticed white smoke coming from the exhaust. Checked oil and saw it was very milky. So immediately tore engine down and replaced head gaskets. As well as all gaskets on the way down there. Once all was back together I let it sit until I took it out that weekend. Took it to water hose to make sure it would crank before heading to the lake and to test and when I hook the water hose to the connector I turn it on and start the boat. Runs good. When finished I checked the oil and water had completely filled my engine to almost flowing out of the dipstick. So assuming head gaskets are good, maybe cracked block or new riser/exhaust manifolds? *unbolted manifold and seemed to be dry though

Forgot to mention, it has a 5.7l indmar engine. Dash says 560hrs, guy said “engine had been replaced and had around 100hrs”. Original risers and manifolds from previous engine

my guess is it wasnt winterized properly.

however you need to drain the water jacket and pressure test it.

you may get lucky and it may only be a failed oil cooler, or its a cracked engine block, cracked heads and cracked exhaust manifolds from failure to winterize. the water jacket pressure test will tell you.

you should have done that initially, generally head gaskets do not fail on boat motors
