new problem now guys.. please help . ok i got the beauty of a wench running.. when she finally turned over i noticed that there was a sudden gush of water that came out of what i believe to be where the starter goes into the engine. after about 3 seconds. no water came out. i then noticed when i gave it throttle(this is all on the trailer with muffs attached)water shooting out in the same vicinity. it did that for another few seconds. then stopped.. i do not notice it anymore but am concerned with why water would be coming out of that spot. please let me know what it could be and if thats normal. i dont remember that happening the last few years but really never looked for it. this year was the first year i actually had someone help me out so i was looking at the engine compartment while they turned the key.. thanks for all the great help.

Probably just filled the bellhousing with water somehow and it threw it all out. Has it stopped?

There is a block drain and a riser drain in that general vicinity.
Could the drain plugs have been removed?

Tom
