I have a small stream of water coming out in the space between the bottom of the rear exhaust housing and the top of the housing for the thermostats. I can't tell which of these may have the problem. Should I start with the exhaust housing just because it is easier to get off or is it more likely to be in the thermostat gaskets or housing? Any help to get started in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Most likely the exhaust cover gasket is leaking. Seems to be common on both the flat backs and bubble backs.

Think I would start with the exhaust cover gaskets. While I have them off, I would also take a peek at the t-stats. Lot easier to do with the exhaust cover off.

Torqueing the exhaust cover screws to the same torque all the way around seems to help leaking problems. Torque them to around 8 ft lbs.
