water leak from head

hello, have a 1986 110 omc, striped spark plug treads lower plug hole, pulled head brought down to mechanic he put in heilcoil for me, cleaned surface of head and block put back and got engine runningm torqued head to 215 inch pounds as per mechanic. started engine had slight leak from lower part of head ran engine up to operating temp then re tourqued head leak seemed to stop, does the head gasket(new) have some self sealer in it? do i ahve to torque the head again? so far no more leaks! thanks for reply

If the gasket had a sheen or it's blue, it has a sealer. If just dull gray, it doesn't. Keep an eye on it. I'd recheck the torque after a few hours of operating.

Hi! Sorry for your problem with the motor.<br /><br />I also have a 110 hp 1986 motor not running very well.<br />I wonder if you could email me an picture of the carburetor and the rest taken from boat. Or maybe tell me what it should be there?<br /><br />I have found out that something is missing just aft of the carburetor(starboard front side upper part) below the flywheel.
