Hello all........I have a1998 Mariah z252 shabah..454(carb) bravo 3......took it out for about 2/3hrs yesterday and noticed a leak at the stern. When I pulled the plug I had about a gallon ish of water in 2/3 hrs.........I'm thinking bellows??? Which one is more likely to leak first? Where else could the be coming from?

Thanks

could be your bellows. they should be replaced every 2-3 years along with the raw water pump.

could also be a leaking hose or a soft transom or the flappers dropped down the y-pipe and wore a hole in them.

step 1 is to identify where the leak is coming from. you will need the boat in the water and you will need a flashlight, mirror and possibly your cell phone camera

+1 to what Scott said. No real point in guessing where the leak is coming from, since the possible causes are plenty. It is a matter of looking until you can isolate it.

Ayuh,.... The Only way to find a water leak, is to Look,....

Use a mirror or camera to see where yer head won't fit,....

It could be a simple as a drain plug leakin' or left out,....
Or,... it could be a rotten transom,....
That's why, ya Gotta Look, 'n find it,...
