i have a 1995 30 hp evinrude that i just changed the h2o pump imp. on i have water leaking from a hole on the back side of the mtr shaft above the lower mtr mount and inside the cowling on the back of the mtr below the lower cylinder thanks the draketaker

My guess is that you did not get the water tube seated properly when you reinstalled the lower unit. Don't run it that way as you can cook the engine.

is that the tube that is about 3 inches long and about the size of your finger
