Water Leaking from where U/L Unit Connect

I had major issues this weekend in Delaware. I cracked my head a few minutes from the ramp, had to get towed, it was caused by a bad water pump in the lower unit. After I fixed the head, I had to replace the lower unit. Luckly for me, I was in an area with a good supply of engine parts. I replaced my lower unit with another one. I did not notice until this afternoon when I was flushing my engine that the seam between the U/L Unit has water coming out. Is there a sealant or gasket that belong there. The cooling system is fine, "Its peeing water", but there is water coming out from that seam. I am slowly learning how to work on my engine myself, and I was hoping someone could ease my mind about a problem, or suggest a fix.

Thanks!

It would really help if we knew what engine you were talking about.

Sorry! It is a 2000 90 HP 3 Cyl, Outboard. Rookie mistake.
