Re: water muffs

dan, muffs will not fit your engine, you need to use a stand and a garbage can or barrel and keep the hose running to keep it full. haven't heard from you in a while.

Water muffs

I use a 55 gallon plastic drum I aquired from a factory near my house. I cut top off with my saw's-all to fit the transom from my larger 140 evinrude as well as my 25 mercury troller motor. Both engine fit into it perfectly. I also put a fawcet valve at bottom to hold the water and open the valve to drain when done. Also can be used as an extra garbage container when there is extra trash. Good Luck!

Tall 5 gallon or so bucket will work fine. Need about 15 inches to make sure the pump is submerged, not just the water intake. Got a 55 in my vise now, just checked
