WATER OUT OF EXUAST HOT!!!

1997 FORCE 2 SROKE OUTBOARD WHERE SHOULD THE WATER DISCHARGE OUT OF THE MOTOR? HOT WATER IS SPRAYING OUT OF EXAUST PORT UNDER COWLING IS THAT RIGHT? IN NEUTRAL THERE WAS SOME BUBBLES COMING FROM LOWER UNIT??? SHOULD YOU BE ABLE TO SEE WATER DISCHARGING ANY WHERE ELES OTHER THAN EXUAST?????WHEN HOOKED UP TO HOSE WATER COMES OUT OF 2 PORT HOLES AND PROP BUT IN WATER YOU CANT SEE THAT????HELP?

You should have a little spray out of the two small holes in the back of the lower leg. The majority of the water should discharge out of the exhuast just behind the prop. You may have a blown head gasket that is allowing the cooling water to leak into the exhaust at the power head.

IF IT HAD A BLOWN HEAD WOULD IT STILL RUN GOOD. BOAT RUNS FINE. CAN YOU CHANGE IT WHERE WATER COMES OUT OF THE SIDE SO I COULD SEE IT? THERE IS A GOOD BIT THAT COMES OUT OF THE EXUAST PORT BUT IT IS VERY HOT!I JUST DONT WANNA MESS UP MY MOTOR.I TOOK THE COWL OFF AND THE MOTOR WAS NOT TO HOT, WHILE IDLEING IT STARTED TO GET HOT NOT ALOT OF WATER OUT OF MOTOR LOWER UNIT WAS PRETTY HOT????????

probably a good idea to just change out the impeller and blow out the water passages, also changing out the t-stat if there is one. But if the powerhead is not too hot to the touch (i.e., if you can hold your hand on it for at least a few seconds), you should be OK.
