how much water should come out of the water outlet and is the cd 17 and the cdl 17 the same motor

Good spray is fine...CDL is just a longshaft..no diff in the motor. If you don't know that last impeller change, have it done, or get a manual and do it. Think ya have to pull the motor block (6 bolts/nuts..no biggie) to get at the shifter rod to disconnect for the lower to seperate.
