water output on 73 6hp evinrude?

where does the water come out of this 6hp. I am not sure it is pumping but it doesn't have a **** hose like my 90hp. could it be through the exhaust port? <br />Thank You in advance<br />Don

Them pee holes weren't on motors in 1973 (most anyways)<br /><br />Yeah, the waterflow will come out through the exhaust (prop) and if you have it another little hole on the back of the leg.<br /><br />If your concerned about waterflow, don't hesitate to replace an impeller. You should be able to touch the powerhead without too much pain! lol. If not, then waterflow problems.
