I googled a bit and found this service manual for my 50Hk EFI 4-stroke outboard.. It seems like I got a partially blocked water pipe (#4 of last page drawing) or top grommet, and apparently there is a service kit for this part.
Can anyone tell me if this can be replaced without taking off the adapter plate? How about hacking it (cutting the pipe near top, unclog it, then do the plumming work)..
