I rebuilt a Mercury 1150 (1976-1978.) I got it running, but noticed water pours out the exhaust. I assumed that I ripped the powerhead to lower unit gasket, so I replaced it. Water still pours out the exhaust. It's possible I ripped the second one too, because I forgot that I have to get the nuts started on the studs before lowering it all the way. I'm going to try and replace it again, but I'm wondering-- the only other place it could leak out of is the exhaust baffle plate, right?
