I finaly got my motor running good but has a low pressure reading. I installed a new water pump(complete), and it is pumping a good pee stream but the water pressure reads, 5 or lower at idle and 7 at 4500rpms. I was given to believe it should read 14 at that rpm. I could'nt get a gromet for the pee hole and installed a 1/4 inch air fitting with a piece of air hose in it, but I think it is still bigger than the original. Would this lower the backpressure? I know it is not getting hot as I hung on the back of the pontoon and put my hand under the stream at 4500rpms and it was luke warm. Should I just not worry about it?.......................Jerry
