water pressure fitting on port side

i have a 2000 90 hp johnson , on the port side cylinder head there is a black plastic 90* degree fitting on left side , witch side of the head is for that fitting . left or right i have no water pressure one has a brass bolt on it .

i need to find out where i get my water pressure from . i have a hose with a 90 degree black elbow that threads into the head on the port side . on the head there are two same size threaded holes one is hollow and the othe is plugged do i put the elbow fitting in the hollow hole ?

If it's a plastic elbow fitting you put it in the hollow hole not the solid hole because that is for actual head temp and the elbow fitting is for water pressure.
