I am fitting a water pressure gauge to my outboard (Evinrude BE40ELCR 1984) what range should this gauge be? some show 60psi and some 2 bar, which one for mine? any help thanks, JBD
I doubt you will ever generate 60PSI. I have one on my 115 and at WOT I am at about 10-12 PSI. I would get one that reads 30 PSI and lower so you have more movement on the gauge. If you get one that registers too high the gauge will barely move.
