Where do I hook a water pressure guage on a 2005 merc 115 elpto 2 stroke motor?

Re: Water Pressure Guage

When you buy the pressure gauge, it will come with a plastic "T" fitting. T into the tell tale hose. If your temp sender is located in the threaded hole in the upper right corner of the block you can't use that port but if the temp sensor is NOT located there, remove the brass plug and insert the barb fitting and connect the gauge there. The barb fitting is also generally included with the gauge. If not this is a 1/8" NFP (fine thread) pipe thread.

Upinsmoke-
I recieved a faria water pressure as part of a set of gauges for a gift. It didn't come with instructions. I just bought a brass "T" fitting T'ed it into the hose the runs from the top of the block (behind the flywheel) to the pressure relief valve housing. Is this alright?

I am pretty sure the run of that hose is only aimed at remove excess air from the system.

Not very familiar with the plumbing on that motor but its best installed as I described -- water jack or tell-tale.

Hi Andy, You installed it in the perfect place for your motor. I have 1990 200 and that is exactly where the instructions for my guage said it should be installed :p
