Hello everyone! Just like to say thanks for everyone who has replied to my other posts, you guys helped alot, But I do have another problem. I am trying to remove the base of my water pump to no avail (2 hours on the baby). I have the impeller removed and the upper part of the water pump (plate and gaskets) I also have the flush screw removed (goes into pump) But for the life of me I cannot remove the base of the pump from the lower unit. I have pried the one end up but it seems to be frozen in the rear, is there a trick to this one. I do have pics of the progress but I have no idea how to post those. Also if anyone is interested I have step by step pics of carb rebuild, distributor,magneto, Lower unit etc...
