I am trying to locate a water pump for an old Elgin 7.5 hp engine for a 1950 - 1960 model boat. I am guessing it is a 1958 model, but I may be wrong. The serial number for the engine is 781-5686 and the model number for the engine is 571-58781. This was made by Sears Robuck and Co. USA or Simpson-Sears LTD Canada. I have no clue as to where to find this particular part. Any phone numbers or e-mail addresses to locate and purchase this part would be appreciated. mdenny@esinc.net. Thanks!

Hi Denny <br /> Your Elgin model 571-58781 is a 1957 model. These motors with #s begining with 571 wre made by West Bend, which was bought by Chrysler, ended up being Force/US Marine. Sorry I have no idea where to get the parts you need. I am sure one if the other guys will give you a hint.
