water pump impeller key ?

I know my impeller key is the old style half moon type. will the round impeller key(0323950) work in its place?

What model of motor do you own ?

Its a 87" 48 SPL, but i've changed the impeller once 2 years ago and it a half moon key and drive shaft. got motor 3 years ago, think its not an 87 lower unit because parts break down shows impeller with wedge type key.

As long as the key fits between the impeller and the shaft and turns with the shaft you are ok.
