OK, I am auto literate. But boats?!?! I'm on my first one. I believe i have the idle problem fixed. Now, when testing the engine in the driveway with my water line hooked up, the warning buzzer goes off and no water comes out the back of the engine. I heard that this is a water pump problem. Where is the water pump located? I want to try and fix it myself. Is there a location where I can find Force 150 motor diagrams or where I can get a cheap repair manual?

You should be able to get a manual here at iboats. Click on "Manuals" at the top of this page and check 'um out.

c/6

Hooty

West marine has manuals for force. Water pump located on lower foot. The lower foot can be dropped by removing 6 screws. The water pump is located on top and can be disected with four nuts. Inside you will find the impeller which displaces the water. Which might or might not be the problem. I replaced mine for $14 in 2 hours. good luck....
