water pump: lower unit out now what

Impaller not that bad but does it come off from the top or do I pull the shaft out of bottom? Or should I put it back and call it good?

take it out from the top and since you came this far replace it anyways if you have it.

Up date I got the brass ring new pump back in. Is their a trick to line the spline back up? having trouble!

i always put triple guard grease on the spline before installing back up
