i know this may be a dumb question but i a was wondering what it would entail to replace the water pump on my 50 hp. i know the motor has been sitting for 8 years, i just got he boat off my parents and i was thinking of replaceing the water pump before i put it in the water. it does seem to be working but i would hate to be on the water and have it go out. i was just tryin to get a alittle safe guard on it and any information any one would have i would appreciate it alot thank you
