Iam working On a 84 35 hp johnson,

I installed a new water pump, however My motor uses a part that goes over the water pump and into the top of it. The manuals I have show that I need an O-ring on the top of my wp but does not name this part.or show the part. Mine was damaged from over heating. what is the name of this part. It acts as a seal on to of wp.

It is a spacer..... 326692 for standard shaft, 326693 for long shaft. The o-rings are in the water pump kit

Re: Water pump parts question

look at your model nuber, if it has a "L" in it, use the long shaft part number, if there is no "L", use the standard shaft part number.
