This is seriously frustrating!!! I order a new water pump from Quicksilver and I really need some help cause I don't think some things are correct. 1- The water pump outlet tube is seriously loose in there, not sure if that white plastic piece is supposed to be securing the tube but I have a good 1/8 gap around the entire thing that causes the tube to wobble and damn near fall out? My old pump you can see is melted so I don't have a comparison? 2- When I slide the driveshaft up the water pump its seriously not tight at all on the lip seal? Yellow arrow indicates the gap? At lease my old pump is tight through the lip seal but this new pump isn't even close? Doesn't it have to make a seal for the water pump to provide good flow? Its an 1987 Force 35 and right on the quicksilver directions/box its say its designed to fit 35, 45, 55 hp motors? Anybody have any guidance/advice???

That kit must be for the older Chrysler 35-55Hp models. Your 35Hp Force is from the 25, 30, 35 Hp enginefamily.
The the pumpkit for your engine has partnumber FK1053.
The one you bought is it the FK1073?
