I took gear gear housing apart to check pump impeller as advised. It looks perfect. I was slow and carefull and reffering to the manual at each step. There was no seal on the shaft at the top of the pump housing. I never took the impeller out of the housing just slipped it off and now on over the key. could this be normal. The impeller has seals at it house contact area, but.....
